Public office hours are generally Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The South Lake Tahoe Records office is at 1360 Johnson Boulevard, South Lake Tahoe, CA 96150, (530) 573-3000, generally Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
For custody questions, Placerville Jail is at 300 Forni Road and uses (530) 621-6000. South Lake Tahoe Jail is at 1051 Al Tahoe Boulevard and uses (530) 573-3030. Confirm hours before traveling. Choose the source that owns the record:
- For a county booking record or photo, follow the official search and request path, then contact EDSO Records.
- For a self warrant check, bring current photo identification to a Sheriff office, jail, or Records Unit, or contact the court. EDSO does not confirm warrants by phone.
- For a fresh arrest, check the county custody roster. The media bulletin is a calls-for-service log, not a same-day booking list.
